Bluepoint Solutions unveiled ImagePoint ITM, a new check capture software for Interactive Teller Machines (ITMs). ImagePoint ITM provides real-time, image-enabled check capture, integrating deposits directly into the existing item processing workflow.

Bluepoint Solutions announced Credit Union 1 has selected its ImagePoint ATM for ATM check capture. With $864 million in assets and 14 branches, Credit Union 1 boasts a service area spanning the entire state of Alaska. To better serve such a far-flung member base, the credit union launched a comprehensive ATM replacement project in December 2012 and installed ATMs from Diebold. After a thorough vendor review process between several providers, an internal project team deemed Bluepoint’s ImagePoint ATM check capture as the solution best equipped to handle the credit union’s projected growth and the addition of additional capture points in the future. Credit Union 1 also chose Bluepoint due to its accelerated time to market capabilities, as well as the company’s ability to integrate multiple RDC capture points that are supported by a single back-office cashletter system.

PCSi item processing and Bluepoint Solutions remote deposit capture, item processing and enterprise content management solutions for financial institutions partnered to enhance PCSi’s remote deposit capture and processing offerings. PCSi processes approximately 15 million items per month. The “ImagePoint Mailroom” lets financial institutions capture and electronically process deposits and remittances, including credit card, mortgage, auto and other loan payments, received in the mailroom. The SaaS-based, automated processing tool is designed to scan, sort, apply and split remittances and deposits, validate the data, then export it for clearing, posting and archiving. The web-based application operates in a secure cloud environment with no local software to install or maintain, allowing institutions to quickly deploy the solution with minimal up-front investment.
Bluepoint Solutions remote deposit capture, item processing and enterprise content management solutions for financial institutions launched its fraud detection suite. Available in real-time and batch modules, designed to detect and flag potentially fraudulent check deposits, the real-time module is integrated with Bluepoint’s Check 21 teller capture application, ImagePoint Teller, and alerts tellers at the point-of-presentment to any suspicious check deposit. The batch module is integrated with Bluepoint’s branch capture application, ImagePoint Branch, to generate reports throughout the day flagging items being returned prior to an item being returned in the incoming cash letter.
Bluepoint Solutions item processing and enterprise content management has joined Symitar’s Vendor Integration Program (VIP). Symitar of Jack Henry & Associates provides core processing solutions and enterprise-wide automation for approximately 750 credit unions. VIP membership enables Bluepoint to integrate its ImagePoint product line with Symitar’s online banking and core processing systems. Bluepoint now has access to Symitar’s implementation, programming, quality assurance and testing support, eliminating most compatibility or technical issues that may have once challenged credit unions wanting to use this service.
