Johnson and Johnson Installs Signbox NFC Smart Poster
Signbox has recently completed an installation of innovative Enlighten smart poster displays at the High Wycombe office of pharmaceutical company, Johnson & Johnson. On a prominent wall at the Consumer Healthcare site, Enlighten is the central display feature for the company’s Healthy Future initiative. A total of 11 Enlighten smart posters feature on a double wall spread of environmental graphics replacing the Healthy Future 2010 display, originally installed by Signbox in 2005. Staff and visitors can now download information programmed into the NFC (Near field communication) tag in the poster via a smartphone in a single elegant swipe.

Agfa Graphics Launches POS Equipment
Agfa Graphics announced a new member in the successful :Jeti series. With the :Jeti 5048 UV XL Agfa targets the 5 metre ultra wide UV curable inkjet market, an application segment that is becoming more important every day. The :Jeti 5048 UV XL will be available in two models. Model one is designed to address high productivity applications such as building wraps and XXL billboards with throughput speeds close to 300m2/hour, delivering one of the fastest industrial strength ultra-wide UV presses in the market while odel two is designed to offer higher quality output for both XXL and/or POS applications. Integrated Bank Technology Certifies Digital Check Scanner
IBT financial services products has added to its suite of products the “TS240” check scanner from Digital Check check scanners for the distributed check capture industry. IBTâs, certification of the “TS240” is thanks in part to its higher resolution 300 dpi cameras (a 50% increase over the TS230); a higher capacity, 100 document feed and exit pocket, and an optional franker. The scanner is available in speeds of 50, 75, and 100 documents per minute and features an optional franker. Digital Checkâs recently introduced integrated “TS240” scanner/ thermal teller transaction receipt printer module (TTP) sits underneath the “TS240.”
