The artwork of high school students Traeveon Reese and Martha Estrada will soon appear in the wallets of thousands of debit cardholders in north Texas. The aspiring artists’ designs are being featured on the new Spirit Debit Reward cards, offered by Texas Trust Credit Union.

VeriFone Systems announced that Wenda Harris Millard, president and chief operating officer of MediaLink LLC, was named to VeriFone’s board of directors. Chase Card Services forged a partnership with Pandora radio service to bring summer-themed music to listeners from June 20 to September 4. In addition to 14 new summer-themed genre stations, listeners can experience the “Sapphire Summer Sounds” radio station, which brings the Chase Sapphire brand to life in an easily accessible playlist. Offering such tools as a “Financial Footprint Calculator” by PayItGreen and an Online Statement sweepstakes to win a Nissan Leaf all-electric car, the Environmental Forum offers a Poll of the Month survey about paperless banking. The “Financial Footprint Calculator” allows people to better understand how switching to electronic billing, statements and payments could reduce their environmental impact, which PayItGreen research is encouraging with figures indicating if 20% of households were to switch to electronic bills, statements and payments, 1.8 million trees would be saved annually.
