OneMain Financial consumer finance lending arm of Citigroup re-branded its U.S. Full Service Network from CitiFinancial to distinguish its business with an identity that better represents who it is and what it does. The logo features a stellar cul-de-sac symbol comprised of 5 homes pointing inward. Each of the company’s more than 1,300 stores now feature signage, literature, and brand advertising materials incorporating the OneMain Financial name and logo. OneMain will also launch a multi-media advertising campaign comprised of television commercials, print advertisements, digital placements, and radio spots. The campaign will focus on their face-to-face, flexible, solutions-oriented approach to meeting customers’ needs.

teamed to launch the “Merchant Advantage Program”. The program assists
merchants in assessing credit-worthy customers at the checkout page. With
Cred-Ex’s four keystrokes and two clicks only application process, an
instantaneous online full credit evaluation is provided. Using Cred-Ex’s
underwriting engine, merchants can
make immediate credit decisions to issue their customers in-house credit

FL-based alternate payment provider Mazooma is offering a real-time
eCommerce payment solution that enables customers to pay for purchases
directly from bank accounts. Mazooma allows millions to pay for
their eCommerce purchases instantly without a credit card.
With the Mazooma solution on the checkout page, merchants can open their
eCommerce doors to millions of new consumers who do not have credit
cards or have previously balked at sending sensitive information online.
Through an Internet-enabled back account, consumers can use Mazooma to
transact in real-time with online merchants through a few simple,
secure, and convenient steps. Mazooma
does not require pre-registration so the solution may be used

Alternative payment service eBillme and CardinalCommerce announced new
eCommerce merchants that have
added eBillme as a checkout option using Cardinal Centinel, the
Universal Merchant Platform. The latest merchants to offer eBillme
online and in the call center through Cardinal Centinel include:
eImprovement.com’s network of stores that include eFaucets.com and
LightingCatalog.com, Comp-U-Plus and CyberPower. Through eBillme,
merchants can now offer their customers promotions, including money back
savings and the eBillme Gas Card Promotion for first-time eBillme

at participating merchants.
E-commerce provider Devix has partnered with CardinalCommerce to provided access to
CardinalCommerce’s “Cardinal Centinel” universal merchant platform.
Through this partnership, eCommerce businesses running Devix’s newest
platform have quick access to the authentication programs Verified by Visa
and MasterCard SecureCode, as well as the alternative payment brand “Bill Me

from start to finish.
Cardinal Commerce has added FL-based “eLayaway” to its payment platform backed by HSBC Bank which enables merchants to provide a layaway payment option. eLayaway.com is similar to traditional layaway, allowing shoppers to buy a product online and pay for it in regular automatic installments with automatic clearing house (ACH) processing by HSBC and delivery upon full payment with only a small 1.9% transaction fee. No credit checks or interest is incurred and customers who are 18-years of age and older need only an active checking account. Cardinal Centinel enables payment brands to a network of over 30,000 merchants and merchant service providers.
Fair Isaac reports that the U.S. Department of Defense will utilize the company’s industry-leading fraud detection technology to deter misuse in its “Purchase Card Program.” The “DoD Purchase Card Program” enables authorized DoD personnel to purchase certain goods and services, such as office supplies and equipment, directly from private sector vendors. It is one of several charge card programs that the DoD operates to streamline business processes and reduce administrative costs. Under terms of the agreement, Fair Isaac will deliver a custom modified “Falcon Fraud Manager” solution in an ASP environment to help the DoD combat misuse of purchase cards. The custom fraud solution will analyze each authorization transaction using DoD-specific risk indicators.
