The Western Union Gold Prepaid Card allows consumers to direct a Western Union Money Transfer transaction directly onto a card, or utilize a “split payout” option to load part of a remittance onto a card and receive the rest in cash. The card also offers innovative mobile text features that help consumers better manage their money. Cardholders can load Western Union remittances and receive account information using SMS text messages, which interfaces with local systems for a “split payout” option.

Charlie Noreen, CFO, Henry Gage, Jr., VP, Product Management and Nevil Patel, VP, Operations have all recently been appointed to their respective positions at

Before joining i2c, Patel served as COO at both S&L Solutions and Pi Sigma Group, IT consultancy and development companies.

Scott Galit has joined i2c payment solutions as company president.
Bringing with him extensive background in the financial services and
prepaid industries, focusing especially on emerging payments, Galit was
most recently executive VP at Meta Payment Systems. In this capacity, he
served on the executive committee of MetaBank and lead all payments
business lines, including credit, prepaid/debit, ACH, loyalty, agent
bank and ATMs. He was also senior VP at MasterCard, serving on the
global debit senior management team and with responsibility for the
global prepaid business; a senior VP and GM at First Data; and was the
founder and CEO of Solspark, and formerly an investment banker at

CA-based payment solution provider i2c has hired Stephen Diamond, previously with Visa, as VP, client account management.
Diamond will lead and manage i2câs client relationships, manage the account advocate group, and contribute to business development initiatives.
During his 12-year tenure at Visa,
Diamond launched the Visa teen and gift card products, expanded gift-card
distribution to more than 120,000 branch and retail locations, worked with
financial institutions to develop product concepts and service
offerings, with one idea resulting in the Visa Buxx card, and managed the personalized Visa
Payment platform provider i2c has tapped Monika Jerabek as
Manager of Marketing and Communications and will direct i2câs marketing
and communications strategies and programs to promote i2c as a leading
provider of prepaid payment solutions. Most recently, she managed
marketing and sales support activities for the Czech consulting and
training company Expertis Praha, where she contributed to a 40% increase
in revenues and a 190% increase in training program attendees over four
years. In the Czech Republic, she also ran her own business as a
communications, brand, and design consultant, and she directed Internet
marketing for Internet start-up Globopolis.com. Earlier in her career in
