Fiserv announced today that United Credit Union has selected the CUnify account processing platform from Fiserv. United will add CheckFree RXP from Fiserv and the Popmoney person-to-person (P2P) payment service. United chose CUnify for its reliability and state-of-the-art relational database foundation to streamline workflows, improve overall performance and provide seamless payments integration. The changing payment preferences of the members at United indicated the need for electronic personal payments capabilities. New to members, United will offer the ability to make person-to-person payments via Popmoney, which was selected for its security and ease of use. Following implementation, members will have the ability to securely send, receive and request money to/from individuals for purposes such as making a last-minute rent payment, sending money to a family member in an emergency, or paying a small business or service provider upon completion of a project.
American Eagle Credit Union is the first credit union in Missouri to deploy NCR’s new interactive, remote video technology to deliver personal teller services to its members. This offers members live video interaction. The NCR Interactive Teller lets the credit union offer members the benefits of the personal service experience of a branch via a drive-up unit. Interactive Teller acts as a “virtual teller window”, giving members the ability to make transactions as they would inside the branch such as withdrawals, deposits and payments, transfers, and check cashing. The new technology will lower processing costs and provide faster transactions. One service representative can attend to as many four machines at multiple branch locations, enabling the employees at those locations to focus on in-branch member connections.
Welch ATM has partnered with the Missouri Lottery and select convenience stores to provide even faster and more convenient access to lottery games…and potential winnings. ATMs at fifty local chains such as Mobil On the Run, U-Gas and Dirt Cheap will offer Powerball and MegaMillions quick pick purchases by March 7, 2014. Another fifty machines will launch in Kansas City by the end of the month.
