Citi launched its Mobile Snapshot, allowing customers to view deposit and credit card balances and recent transactions without having to log into their accounts. This follows a successful beta test conducted with customers over the past three months. Citi banking and credit card customers who choose to enroll in Citi Mobile Snapshot will have instant access to their basic account information. The new feature will help enrolled banking and credit card customers monitor their accounts on-the-go by displaying balances and the 15 most recent transactions without requiring a log-in every time. The introduction of Citi Mobile Snapshot feature is part of the complete redesign of the Citi Mobile app launched earlier this year. The new app, enabled for iPhone® and Android™ devices, provides U.S. banking and credit card customers with new and enhanced mobile account management capabilities.

The U.S. launch includes a limited beta test of Citi Mobile® Snapshot, a new opt-in feature that enables customers to check deposit and credit card balances and recent transactions without having to log into their accounts.
Chase has customized the popular Chase “My New Home” app for the Apple tablet – and added features to make it even better. This offers the only app on the market that guides users through the home-buying process from start to finish. It allows searching home listings by ZIP code to calculating monthly payments- provide real-time help at each step of the home-buying process. Househunters can record notes, take photos and videos of the houses, calculate payments and access more than 4,000 local Chase mortgage bankers. The videos offer practical advice from both homebuyers and the experts they will meet throughout the home buying-process. Viewers can learn about a wide variety of subjects from key mortgage terms and how to select the right real estate agent to what to expect at closing.
Chase took top honors in the Keynote Mobile Banking Scorecard for overall mobile web experience in Q1 2013. This is Chase’s third consecutive win in Keynote’s ranking of mobile offerings among the 15 largest U.S. banks. In the latest Keynote Scorecard, Chase ranked #1 in two of four categories – Functionality and Ease of Use – to take the top spot overall. Features include “QuickDeposit” mobile check deposit capability; “QuickPay” person-to-person payment service; and Chase Instant Action Alerts to notify customers of a low balance. The Scorecard measures and ranks the 15 largest retail banks in the United States based on a list of more than 100 criteria in four main categories, developed from user testing and research.
Chase ranked #1 for both U.S. and global banks in Forrester Research’s 2013 Global and U.S. Mobile Banking Functionality Rankings for a score of 71 out of 100 – fifteen points above the report’s average score of 56 in the 15-bank study. Wells Fargo & Company announced the nationwide expansion of Wells Fargo Mobile Deposit, allowing users with an Android or iPhone device to deposit checks into their eligible Wells Fargo accounts by taking pictures of the front and back of the check. Customers already used Wells Fargo Mobile Deposit to deposit more than 600,000 checks. Customers just choose the eligible consumer or business account where they want to deposit their check, enter the check amount, and use their mobile device to take a picture of the front and back of the endorsed check. After they submit their deposit, Wells Fargo sends a confirmation message. For this, Wells Fargo uses advanced encryption and security technology to mask sensitive information.
