WI-based Fiserv has agreed to acquire MT-based i_Tech Corporation for $40 million in a deal expected to close this month. i_Tech provides outsourced account processing services as a licensee and reseller of the Fiserv “ITI Premier” core banking system to financial institutions located primarily in the northern Midwest and West. In addition to account processing services, i_Tech provides its 158 financial institution clients with complementary services including EFT processing and check processing. First Interstate, the owner of i_Tech, has had a relationship with Fiserv for 30 years. i_Tech also provides service for more than 750 ATMs in 10 states.

MT-based financial services provider Davidson Companies announced that a database containing certain personal information of its current and past clients may have been breached. The company recently became aware of the intrusion and immediately took its public Internet site offline. The company has contacted law enforcement and its regulatory authorities, notified the three credit reporting bureaus, and retained an information technology security and forensic firm to review the incident to assist the company in its response. Based on the company’s review, there is no evidence the unauthorized access enabled the third party to affect or alter client accounts through company systems.
MT-based ATM distributor ATM Express has incorporated St. Louis-based JBM Electronics solutions and AT&T’s Cingular Wireless data network to power its network of ATMs. By using JBM Electronics’ wireless routers and the AT&T wireless data network, ATM Express has lowered costs by 70 percent and reduced transaction times from 25 seconds to as low as five seconds per transaction. AT&T has the largest digital wireless data network in the U.S., providing coverage in more than 13,000 cities and towns. JBM Electronics provides custom development for network connectivity solutions. ATM Express currently processes over 14,000 ATMs nationwide.
MT-based ATM Express and its 5,024 ATMs have joined the NYCE Network.Â ATM Express, which began deploying ATMs in 1999, added to the NYCE Network 5,024 ATMs that it operates throughout the United States. As with all independent deployers in the NYCE Network, ATM Express’ network participation is sponsored by a participating financial institution. ATM Express is also relying on NYCE’s EFT Processing Services division to drive its terminals.

The Yellowstone VISA card is issued by Elan Financial Services, features a picturesque scene of Yellowstone, and is available in a classic and platinum card. More than three million people visit Yellowstone each year.
