Sopra Banking Software implemented an electronic money platform at Transactis French electronic transaction hub – for Société Générale, La Banque Postale and Crédit du Nord.
This fully operational platform uses Sopra Banking Cards-Issuer for contract and support management, as well as associated payment and withdrawal activities. A common electronic money platform for Société Général and La Banque Postale, allowed a common transaction system. At the end of 2012, Transactis was already managing two billion transactions per year for both banks. Sopra Banking Cards-Issuer offers an open, flexible architecture and comprises a number of pooled services that benefit all of its customers. These services include a multitude of visuals, a reduction on card production delays, mobile payments, payments without contract and post-personalization.

UIC, FlagPay and NCR have closely cooperated to make the TS890 available and approved into the NCR-WinEpts product family. WinEpts is a Consorzio Bancomat CB2 approved application, thus, the FlagPayTS890 terminal is going to be listed into the supported devices from NCR-WinEpts and Consorzio Bancomat. In this way FlagPay can provide a powerful and scalable payment solution to merchants based on the WinEpts products suite which allows payment acceptance not only through international acquirers but also through Italian operators that manages the domestic debit scheme.
Digicash m-payment App that enables clients of affiliated banks to use their smartphones to pay directly from their bank accounts. With P&T Luxembourg (www.pt.lu) as the second bank to offer Digicash as of July 2013, this mobile payment product is now available to more than 60% of Luxembourg’s consumers. Digicash was first launched with Luxembourg’s largest retail bank BCEE in November 2012. On the payer’s side, the product is available as an App for iOS and Android smartphones through participating banks. Payments are made via SEPA Credit Transfers from the payers’ bank accounts using existing interbank channels (STEP2). Digicash is not only suited for payments of small amounts: the default spending limit is set at 2,500 € per transaction and per week. Digicash offers a multi-bank mobile payment solutions in Europe to be fully operational. It relies on the strong, trusting relationship between consumers and their retail banks regarding everyday payment services and tools. The direct link to customers’ current accounts and the easy-to-use sign-up process ensure maximum convenience.
Deutsche BankDeutsche Bank jointly developed and implemented its cash management solution with General Electric’s Treasury team. Customizing NTT Data’s eBAgent in order to streamline General Electric’s Japanese Yen payment and reporting processes, the partnership is focused on managing multi-bank relationships. Addressing issues of multiple proprietary banking platforms with different interfaces and formats, the Deutsche Bank’s solution helps address these issues by offering a single conduit to process multiple bank payments over NTT Data’s ANSER and harmonise the reporting into a unified format. It also lets clients consolidate their banking interfaces, saving on transaction and maintenance costs.
Australia and New Zealand Banking Group (ANZ) has successfully gone live with Bolero’s multi-bank trade finance solution, following a rapid implementation of the technology. ANZ is now live with major corporate customers in Asia, Europe and in North America and has plans to support other known Bolero customers now that this first implementation is complete. The Bolero web-based trade finance solution enables the automation of the end-to-end lifecycle of Documentary Credits, Standby Letters of Credit, Guarantees, Bonds and other traditional trade instruments for both Importers and Exporters as a true multi-bank solution.
Nakumatt is set to introduce the multi-currency EMV MasterCard PayPass Prepaid loyalty card to over one million of its loyalty program members for the largest prepaid merchant agreement for MasterCard in the Middle East and Africa region. The existing Nakumatt Cybercash loyalty card will be replaced with the Nakumatt Global MasterCard Prepaid card, allowing customers to load money onto the card for purchases at POS terminals, cash withdrawals and online purchases at Nakumatt stores across East Africa, and at any retailer that accepts MasterCard payment cards worldwide. Points earned will only be redeemable at Nakumatt stores.

Higher One payment services company has entered into an agreement with Wright Express Financial Services Corporation value-based business payment processing and information management solutions. With this, Wright Express Financial Services Corporation will establish, provide, and maintain Higher One’s account offering (the OneAccount), for a portion of Higher One’s customers in addition to providing other banking functions. Higher One will continue to administer the accounts, providing customer services and other functions such as processing and technology-related aspects of the accounts.
