Verifone’s MX 915 and MX 925 payment terminals have been granted SEPA Common Criteria certification by the Dutch Certification Body (NSCIB).
NCR announced Buffalo Wild Wings implemented its Aloha Online Ordering solution for its 1,000 company-owned and franchised locations in addition to to its existing NCR technology solution. The Aloha Online Ordering enables Buffalo Wild Wings customers to order online and avoid wait times on the phone. Their payment information is securely stored for future orders and they can review their order; increasing order accuracy. All web orders are instantly distributed to the appropriate store and then routed to the kitchen. VeriFone Systems, Inc. announced that The Jones Group Inc. has selected VeriFone solutions to enable mobile payment acceptance and enhance customer experience for its internationally recognized brands, including Jones New York and Nine West. VeriFone will upgrade the brands’ payment environments with its PAYware Mobile e210 mobile point-of-sale (mPOS) solution and the MX 915, an NFC-enabled, multi-media payment terminal.
Elavon global payments solutions provider is set to launch the Ingenico “Telium2” series countertop and wireless terminals as part of a strategic move to scale its global relationship with Ingenico. Elavon has successfully completed the Class A certification of Ingenico’s Telium2 iCT2xx and iWL2xx series terminals and software application. The certification covers the iCT220 and iCT250 countertop terminals. The iCT220 and iCT250 terminals will be available to Elavon’s customers nationwide as stand-alone countertop solutions or in conjunction with Ingenico’s external iPP220 & iPP320 PIN Pads. The iCT2xx and iWL2xx terminals will provide Elavon’s customers everywhere with a solid foundation to offer payment and value-added services to their customers on a platform that supports EMV, contactless, and NFC technologies. The two companies are also leveraging Ingenico’s IngEstate tool terminal management platform.

Run by TSYS Managed Services EMEA, the center is in addition to existing facilities in the UK and Netherlands and is now delivering a comprehensive suite of managed services customer care solutions to financial institutions throughout continental Europe. The joono software enables banks to deliver targeted product marketing to their customers while providing enhanced multi-media capabilities and the potential for third party advertising campaigns using atmAd, i-design’s media sales and campaign operations services. i-design will also be providing a fully managed end-to- end campaign activity service.
VeriFone Systems announced U.S. transaction volume through its “PAYware Connect” gateway has achieved an annual rate exceeding $10 billion. Growth in mobile payments and increasing retailer demand for cloud-based payment services is spurring increased opportunities for VeriFone’s hosted payment solution. Small merchants are selecting PAYware Mobile solutions for use with smartphones and tablets in their businesses. Larger merchants are selecting PAYware for in-the-aisle checkout and for solutions that are integrated with other retail systems. The “PAYware Connect” gateway delivers cloud-based, PCI-compliant payment services and advanced capabilities such as VeriShield Total Protect end-to-end encryption security.
Ingenico payment solutions selected its solution for the acceptance of Visa cards in “Auchan Russia” hypermarkets, in cooperation with Visa and Bank VTB24. The first hypermarket to accept Visa cards is Auchan Sokolniki in Moscow, with 138 lanes equipped with Ingenico’s iSC250 terminal. At the end of December 2011, already 1.700 Ingenico terminals were deployed throughout the country in 22 hypermarkets. By the end of 2012, Visa cards should be accepted in all Auchan hypermarkets in Russia. The deployment of the Ingenico terminals will thus continue. The iSC250 provides proven high performance signature capture for multi-lane retail environments, boasting a large screen area and easy-access stylus. It eliminates the need to print receipts, which are sent with the signature samples directly to the host server, and is much faster and more convenient than a paper check.
Buffalo Bills Running Back Fred Jackson has become the newest member of the M&T Bank team, signing a marketing contract to become the official spokesman for Buffalo Bills Checking. He became the first NFL player to rush for more than 1,000 yards and gain more than 1,000 yards on kickoff returns and will be featured in M&T Bank’s multi-media advertising campaign throughout Western New York during the upcoming 2011 football season and work with M&T on select appearances and community events. Jackson said “Buffalo Bills fans have been great to me and they’re passionate about the team. I’m happy to join with M&T Bank to help fans show their pride…”
OneMain Financial consumer finance lending arm of Citigroup re-branded its U.S. Full Service Network from CitiFinancial to distinguish its business with an identity that better represents who it is and what it does. The logo features a stellar cul-de-sac symbol comprised of 5 homes pointing inward. Each of the company’s more than 1,300 stores now feature signage, literature, and brand advertising materials incorporating the OneMain Financial name and logo. OneMain will also launch a multi-media advertising campaign comprised of television commercials, print advertisements, digital placements, and radio spots. The campaign will focus on their face-to-face, flexible, solutions-oriented approach to meeting customers’ needs.
