Gemalto is enabling United Nations Federal Credit Union (UNFCU) members around the globe to quickly and securely obtain their new Europay-MasterCard-VISA (EMV1) cards. Through a worldwide network of service centers, Gemalto’s Allynis Global Issuance services works seamlessly to issue EMV cards from regional centers that are located closest to the cardholder. Previously, UNFCU’s cards had been deployed from just one location in North America. Gemalto, having already delivered more than one billion EMV payment cards to clients worldwide, is making the card issuance service easier and more efficient for UNFCU and all its globally located cardholders.

Acumera Trusted Connection Services for convenience stores launched its PCI Audit Support to accelerate PCI compliance audits as part of Acumera’s PCI Tools solution. InTechnology launched a PCI-certified managed service called PaySecure Connect. The cloud services provider has partnered with Phoenix Managed Networks and Mako Networks to deliver a resilient MPLS network and a secure PCI-certified payment infrastructure which is also capable of delivering managed voice and data services over the same secure connection. PaySecure Connect has been developed to overcome the complexity of achieving and maintaining compliance with PCI data security standards and is the first package to offer consolidated payments authorisation between the retailer and banks with a scalable communication and managed services network. PaySecure Connect adds further value by removing many of the in-house resource costs needed to establish and adhere to PCI standards.
OAISYS published its “Payment Card Industry Data Security Standards (PCI-DSS) Guide for Contact Center Managers,” in conjunction with DMG Consulting LLC. It offers an overview of PCI policies governing financial transactions using credit and debit cards around the world, how it applies to contact centers and the “dos” and “don’ts” of data storage.
