China Merchants Bank has selected NCR’s Dynamic eLock Management solution to help the bank centralize the management of safe box keys and passwords across its over 10,000 unit ATM network. Specially designed for the China market, NCR Dynamic eLock management solution restricts the access to an ATM’s safe boxes to only authorized users with an IC smart key and a one-time password.
NCR Corporation today announced that it has signed a software professional service agreement with Hua Xia Bank to transform its banking services with NCR’s latest multi-vendor software application, NCR APTRA Activate. The software will run on the bank’s entire fleet of multi-vendor ATMs, self-service kiosks for card issuance and account enquiry kiosks nationwide. NCR will provide implementation maintenance for the new platform, which is expected to begin this fall.
Finansbank has chosen NCR solutions to provide an improved and more convenient banking experience for consumers and small business in Turkey. With 673 branches across the region, Finansbank is the bank of choice for small businesses when they deposit takings at the end of day and specifically chose NCR SelfServ 34 and 32 ATMs for their deposit and cash re-cycling capabilities. The cash re-cycling features of these ATMs will help Finansbank reduce costs by decreasing the number cash deliveries required at branches and the time spent on cash replenishment by branch staff. NCR APTRA software uses a Windows®-based XFS interface, facilitating an open software environment and making it vendor independent.
NCR Corporation and INETCO Systems Limited announced that Sinergia has chosen a combined NCR APTRA Vision and INETCO Insight® software solution to monitor real-time service delivery and improve customer service. The solution will be deployed to more than 165 rural banks and 2,000 ATMs that run on the Banche di Credito Cooperativo network in Italy. Sinergia is the result of a merger between Cesecoop, Soar, UPF and Iside Spa. The objective of the merger was to provide rural banks throughout Italy with a centralized, standardized infrastructure that makes it easy to achieve operational excellence and optimal cost-effectiveness. Bank of Ningbo has deployed its 500 ATM on the NCR APTRATM Edge multi-vendor software application while its network has been migrated to be compliant with EMV1 (PBOC 2.02) card payment standards. NCR has installed its Terminal Management Services solution, which provides real-time remote monitoring and recovery ability to ensure the ATM network’s availability and visibility. In addition, NCR has upgraded Bank of Ningbo’s ATM network with a suite of security solutions, including NCR Remote Key Management solution, Dynamic eLock Management Platform, and SolidCore for APTRA security solution, which will help improve security and ATM uptime. NCR immediately kicked off the project through detailed testing and analysis of its multi-vendor ATM environment, and implemented software to be shared among different vendors’ ATM terminals.
