ParTech announced that Fogo de Chão recently installed PAR POS terminals. Fogo de Chão (fo-go-de’e-shoun) is an authentic Brazilian Steakhouse with 24 locations in the U.S. and 9 locations in Brazil. Fogo de Chão has selected the PAR EverServ(R) 7000 POS hardware family as the standard POS for all new store openings and replacements or upgrades at existing stores in the U.S. Fogo de Chão initially deployed the EverServ 7000 terminals for its new flagship restaurant in New York, which opened on December 19, 2013. EverServ 7200 terminals are used at the server stations and EverServ 7700 Low Profile terminals are used at the hostess station for seating guests and taking reservations.
ParTech made available its “PAR EverServ PixelPoint V11” POS software. With 38 new features and enhancements, the improvements provide restaurant operators many new tools to increase efficiency and make it easier to manage their business. The new features also provide the foundation to simplify the path for operators to enable future business initiatives. EverServ PixelPoint V11 continues to deliver on PAR’s Boundless Hospitality market vision by adding features and capabilities that empower restaurant operators to rapidly implement emerging technologies like mobile loyalty.
ParTech enterprise POS software provider has integrated VeriFone’s VeriShield Total Protect into its “EverServ Software” to help make payment card transactions safer for restaurant customers while simplifying and reducing the cost of PCI compliance for restaurant operators. PAR has created a fully integrated and easily supported solution that combines VeriShield Total Protect end-to-end encryption with PAR EverServ QSR 1.4 or later software using PAR’s proprietary electronic payment interface (EPI). PAR’s unique EPI gives operators the flexibility to implement their choice of industry-standard PCI security solutions today and adapt their POS system to support new security capabilities as PCI standards evolve. The EPI simplifies the integration of security solutions and helps operators quickly achieve PCI compliance.

ParTech (PAR) announced that it has been recognized by SUBWAY restaurants and the Independent Purchasing Cooperative (IPC) with the organizationsâ annual Rookie of the Year award in the technology category. PAR has been a hardware supplier for SUBWAY® POS since 2009. The SUBWAY POS solution includes PAR EverServ 6000 POS terminals and all the required peripherals. PAR also provides SUBWAY® franchisees with optional on-site service and professional equipment installation for the SUBWAY® POS solution.
The ParTech (PAR) “EverServ” QSR point-of-sale (POS) software has been successfully implemented at two significantly different quick service restaurant locations. This demonstrates the flexibility and scalability of the solution. PAR launch partner S.L. Investments (CKE Franchisee) has implemented EverServ QSR in its Carl’s Jr. restaurant in Las Vegas, Nevada and plans to roll out the solution to 37 of its Carl’s Jr. restaurants by the end of 2010. SIP Coffee House, a single unit operator of a European style coffee house in San Antonio, Texas, has also successfully deployed the EverServ QSR solution.
Mike Todd has been appointed ParTech, Americas’ Sales VP. In his new role, Todd will implement his 30-plus years of experience to provide leadership to PAR’s sales and channel teams in the Americas. Over the past 20 years, he held executive level positions at leading providers of hardware, software and services to the retail POS and enterprise solutions markets, in such roles as CEO with MATRA System, as VP, Sales and Marketing at Torex Retail, Americas and Vice President of Sales at Agilysys, Keylink Division, Retail Solutions. During his 22 years at Kyrus, Todd was President and Executive VP in three separate divisions. He also started IBM’s second POS distributor and increased revenues from zero to $45 million in six years.
ParTech has introduced its “EverServ Kiosk 6000” to
provide customers enhanced self-service options that speed customer
service. The new touch-screen kiosk was developed in collaboration
with ISV partners Titan and Vista Entertainment Solutions (Vista) to
optimize, test, and integrate their cinema ticketing application software
into the “EverServ Kiosk 6000”. It will also integrate PARâs “EverServ
PixelPoint POS” application with the kiosk, which is designed to work
with virtually any kiosk application. The “PAR EverServ POS” Kiosk
6000 system features a bright, 15-inch LCD display with high-durability
capacitive touch-screen technology with a rugged construction and open-
architecture design.
ParTech will unveil its new PAR EverServ 6000 LP (Low Profile) POS terminal at the National Restaurant Association Show, May 22 through May 25 at McCormick Place in Chicago. The “PAR EverServ 6000 LP” system packages the durability, flexibility, scalability and performance of ParTech’s “EverServ POS” hardware line for image-conscious restaurant operators. In addition to introducing its new POS, PAR will be demonstrating its complete portfolio of PAR EverServ solutions, which include PAR EverServ Hardware (EverServ 2000 economical POS terminal, the EverServ 6000 rugged POS terminal and the EverServ Kiosk 6000 self-service kiosk); PAR EverServ POS Software (Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) POS software, Table service restaurant POS software, and Mobile POS ordering module of EverServ POS TSR and PAR EverServ(integration services, implementation services, hardware maintenance services, professional services and help desk services).
Epson has expanded its partnership with POS platform provider ParTech
to offer an expanded line of products and support for the hospitality
industry. PAR will offer Epson?’s “TM-T88IV”, “TM-U220” and “EU-T432” receipt printers for PAR?s
“ViGo”?, “Gemini?” and “EverServ? Series 6000” POS terminals. Under the expanded agreement between PAR and Epson, PAR also joins
Epson?s Envision Partner Program. This comprehensive channel program
provides extensive sales and marketing resources as well as educational
tools designed to help partners deliver the most complete and effective
solutions and service, along with the fastest possible time to market.
