PayConex™ P2PE is the first P2PE solution in the U.S. to receive Payment Card Industry (PCI) validation, and just one of three solutions in the world to receive this validation. PayConex P2PE encrypts cardholder data within the point of entry, thus preventing clear-text data from reaching the point-of-sale (POS) system, software or networks where it could be exposed in the event of a data breach.
eCard Transactions and Bluefin Payment Systems, have announced a partnership to bring Bluefin’s PayConex P2PE™ solution to eCard Transactions clients. eCard Transactions provides intelligent software, payment solutions and sweep technology to recover returned checks, EFTs and declined credit cards for customers while averaging collection rates as high as 77%. The company specializes in payment solutions and recovery services for the health, fitness and non-profit industries, and serves 3,000 YMCA headquarters, branches and childcare centers across the United States.
Bluefin Payment cloud-based integrated payment solutions for independent software vendors (ISVs) introduced their “QuickSwipe” mPOS system. QuickSwipe is a turn-key payment application for single and multi-user mobile processing on iOS devices. Bluefin also offers the QuickSwipe SDK for integrated payments with an ISV’s existing mobile application. This lets merchants can build catalogs of items and inventory, assign administrators and users, enable tips and taxes, easily issue refunds, and provide detailed, GPS-driven receipts. The application supports credit/debit, ACH and cash journaling. Merchants have the flexibility to extend their brand to the application with the addition of their logo, colors, and business information.
Bluefin Payment financial technology provider of cloud-based integrated payment solutions for independent software vendors (ISVs), announced they have partnered with a premier international payment platform provider to expand their US and Canadian presence to include international payment processing in early 2014. Bluefin’s innovative and proprietary PayConex platform will now support e-commerce and mail order/telephone order (MOTO) payments in 52 countries across six continents in 187 currencies. Bluefin secures the cloud with a security suite that includes tokenization, transparent redirect, and end-to-end encryption (E2EE). ISVs and SaaS providers integrate PayConex directly into their software, providing their customers a seamless payment experience while extending the functionality and value of their software.
V.me by Visa pan-European digital wallet service is now live in the UK, France, Spain and Poland. The UK’s Nationwide Building Society is joined by leading issuers BPCE and LCL in France, with ING Bank Slaski now in pilot in Poland and multiple pilots also underway in Spain. Other major issuers will launch soon in all four markets, marking a major milestone for the service as it enters the first stage of its pan-European launch. V.me by Visa is designed to increase consumer confidence in online shopping and reduce the proportion of sales that are abandoned during the checkout process. In the UK any cardholder can sign up to participate in the launch. In other markets the service is currently being offered to a select group of consumers, with wider availability to follow in the coming months. The V.me by Visa pilot program for Ireland will take place in early 2014.
Bluefin Payment Systems and Medtask practice management solutions for the medical industry partnered on integrated payment processing within the Medtask practice management platform. Bluefin’s payment platform, PayConex, features credit/debit/ACH processing with security features such as transparent redirect, tokenization, and point-to-point encryption (P2PE). Merchants can accept payments through the PayConex virtual terminal, at point of sale, online using the company’s hosted payment page, or through a mobile phone or tablet. Medtask has established a reputation as an all-in-one practice management solution, designed to let doctors focus on their patients. Medtask provides cloud-based services they provide including scheduling, billing, reporting, e-Eligibility, e-Remittance (ERA), and Electronic Health Records (EHR). Medtask customers have the luxury of being able to manage their practice from any computer, at any time.
Bluefin Payment Systems is set to introduce a PCI-validated Point-to-Point Encryption (P2PE) solution validated through qualified P2PE assessor, 403 Labs, LLC, in 4Q/13. The PCI P2PE Standard requires a PCI-approved point-of-interaction device (POI) and HSM (hardware security module) key management; software solutions are not currently eligible for P2PE validation. Bluefin’s P2PE technology can be implemented in retail POS systems, in call centers, and in mobile devices and will interface with the company’s PayConex platform. This provides security features such as tokenization, end-to-end encryption (E2EE) and transparent redirection.
