Millicom international telecommunications and media company announced its Tigo operation in Tanzania has launched the world’s first mobile money service which offers users the opportunity to automatically earn a return on their balance direct to their wallet without the need for a separate registration. The service in Tanzania is called Tigo Wekeza (“Tigo Invests”), and will allow over 3.5 million Tigo Pesa users to benefit from quarterly payments based on the balance held in their account. Tigo Pesa users in Tanzania will also have the option to nominate a non-profit beneficiary, in line with their personal cultural belief.
WEX Inc. announced it has signed a multi-year extension to provide private label and universal fleet card services for Phillips 66. Through the agreement, WEX will continue to issue fleet cards and provide related payment services to Phillips 66-branded customers.

Triton’s ARGO 7 ATM features a color touchscreen, supports the eco-friendly option of sending SMS text, email or printed receipts, reducing each machine’s carbon footprint and resulting in cost savings over the life of the ATM. Also it can be configured with a business hours or level one safe and is EMV ready. The Fujitsu G60, with up to 1,900 notes capacity, features 4 recycling cassettes, 1 deposit cassette and 1 optional F53 loading cassette. The loading cassette increases up time and productivity by increasing capacities, start of day replenishment or providing an additional denomination when necessary.

GE Capital Retail Bank signed a multi-year agreement with Phillips 66 energy manufacturing to provide private label credit card programs for consumer and commercial customers nationwide. GE Capital Retail Finance will manage the Phillips 66 relationship and service the account, which includes a private label credit card for consumers and a branded business revolving charge card for commercial customers. The branded consumer credit card program, which includes the Phillips 66 Personal Card, Conoco Personal Card and 76 Personal Card, will provide consumer cardholders with benefits and convenience, as well as the opportunity to earn rewards for qualifying fuel purchases made at any of the 8,000 independently owned Phillips 66, Conoco, 76 and Phillips 66 General Aviation locations nationwide.
