Capital One has signed a three-year financing services agreement with BRP US Inc. “BRP”. This new relationship reinforces Capital One’s commitment to building its private label credit card business. The contract covers revolving financing for BRP’s Ski-Doo snowmobiles, Sea-Doo watercraft and Can-Am all-terrain vehicles, side-by-side vehicles and Spyder roadsters sold by BRP dealers in the United States. Capital One’s partnership with BRP provides consumers with access to credit that can be used for accessories, services and/or vehicles at BRP dealerships. Offerings include a Life of Loan product, which is designed to be paid off over a set term, as well as promotional rate financing options, which have a low intro APR for a set period of time.

U.S. Bank and Polaris, a leader in the power sports industry, have created the Polaris Visa card where customers can earn points for every dollar spent at Polaris dealerships and for everyday purchases. With the Polaris Visa, cardholders earn points on all of their purchases and can redeem those points for Polaris Cash. For example, for every dollar of net purchases spent on the card at a Polaris dealership, they will earn two points. They also earn two points at gas stations and one point everywhere else. Once a cardholder earns 2,500 points, they can redeem the points for $25 in Polaris Cash, which can only be used at participating Polaris dealerships.
Green Dot prepaid financial services with GE Capital Retail Bank and Walmart has expanded the “Walmart MoneyCard” prepaid card product line sold at Walmart stores nationwide and online at walmartmoneycard.com. The “Walmart MoneyCard” is issued by GE Capital Retail Bank and has added three new products to the current suite of offerings, including a Visa Gold MoneyCard, a MasterCard Family Edition MoneyCard and a MasterCard Bill Pay MoneyCard. This is in conjunction with the “Do More With a MoneyCard Card” campaign, updated permanent signage in the Money Center featuring the full product line and seasonal signage for both the Money Center and Customer Service Center.
Fashion retailer Stein Mart and GE Capital’s Retail Finance business hashed-out a multi-year renewal of their co-branded credit card program in Stein Mart’s 260 stores throughout the United States. Expanding on their relationship that began in 2006, GE Capital Retail Finance will continue to offer card programs that Stein Mart customers value, with exclusive savings and added convenience. Stein Mart stores offer brand name and designer fashions for women, men and home at savings of up to 60 percent off department store prices every day, presented in a department store environment.
GE Capital’s Retail Finance business, a consumer lending unit of General Electric Company, renewed its agreement with Select Comfort Corporation to provide consumer financing programs. The four-year extension of the SLEEP NUMBER Card will allow Select Comfort to continue to provide long term financing options with additional offers and discounts for cardholders. The servicing arrangement between GE Capital and Select Comfort dates back to 1999 and has produced double-digit increases in new cardholder accounts and sales growth over the past two years. GE Capital’s Retail Finance business has provided billions of dollars in consumer financing through more than 200,000 small- and mid-sized businesses throughout the United States.
For undisclosed financial terms, GE Capital has acquired sales finance portfolios from Citi Retail Partner Cards to offer consumer financing programs and related services to small to mid-sized retailers and dealers in the Home Furnishings; Flooring; Consumer Electronics; and Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) segments. The Citi portfolios being acquired include nearly three-dozen retail partner relationships that collectively represent more than 18,000 small to mid-sized Main Street merchant locations across the United States. Citi will provide interim servicing until GE Capital Sales Finance completes the conversion of merchants and cardholder accounts to its own system.
Kaneâs Furniture selected GE Money as its consumer financing partner for the “Furniture Card” and the “Savon Furniture” Card. With the new financing program, customers at all 17 Kaneâs and Savon stores can apply for credit and get fast responses, often within seconds. The Business Center is GE Moneyâs password protected website that provides a suite of marketing tools to their retail partners. By leveraging the Business Center Kaneâs and Savon stores can track credit sales by location, provide sales training and a lot more. GE Money pioneered consumer financing more than 75 years ago and today provides financing services to more than one million businesses.
GE Money has signed a multi-year agreement to offer a credit card to DBG for the “EcoQuest” line of air and water purification
products. The private label financing program provides attractive
financing programs and special credit promotions that simplify payment
options on initial and
on-going purchases. Key benefits of the program include, 24-hour online
access, promotional financing and low minimum monthly payments. In
addition, the credit card can be used for purchases wherever GE Money’s
Home Design program is accepted. EcoQuest air and water purification
products are sold through a network of independent business owners who are
committed to providing affordable products and services that enhance the
wellness and comfort of its customers and their families.
GE Money, Sales Finance has added a number of new programs and announced renewed or expanded relationships
with many long-term partners, representing more than 30,000 business
locations nationwide. Over the past month, Sales Finance announced new agreements including
Edwin Watts Golf, The Tile Shop, Oreck, 1-800-Mattress and Fender Musical Instruments Corporation.
Extensions have also been completed with a number of partners including:
Husqvarna, Bassett Furniture, KTM Power Sports, Steinhafelâs Furniture, Bernina and Pep Boys. OH-based

The Tile Shop revolving credit card is
part of the “GE Money Home Design program” and enables consumers to

agreement. The no annual fee BERNINA credit
card offers customers special financing options and additional savings
opportunities throughout the year. The BERNINA credit card can be used at over 500 authorized dealers to
purchase any of BERNINAâs complete line of state-of-the-art sewing and
embroidery machines, sergers and embroidery software. The card is managed by GE Moneyâs
Sales Finance unit. BERNINA dealers use GE Moneyâs Web-based finance management portal,
Business Center. Business Center provides business clients with an easy,
secure way to manage their credit programs and better serve their
customers. Thousands of small businesses use GE Moneyâs Business Center
to securely access all the sales, operational, marketing and training
tools they need at the click of a button.
