FleetCor Technologies fuel cards and workforce payment products to businesses, confirmed that it has signed a long term fuel card system processing contract with Chevron covering Asia-Pac and South Africa. Using its Global FleetNet (GFN) fuel card processing platform, FleetCor will process transactions for Chevron’s private label commercial card program fuel card in six Asia-Pac markets plus South Africa. The in-scope geographies are Hong Kong, Philippines, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand and New Zealand. Chevron has a significant position across Asia-Pac and South Africa and private label commercial fuel cards are a major part of its ongoing development in these markets.
nFinanSe announced a provider of general purpose reloadable (GPR) prepaid cards in the direct-to-consumer sales channel. Closed in phases, the First Closing involved the sale of the operational assets of nFinanSe to an entity wholly owned by AccountNow. Assets of nFinanSe will consist solely of the stock of nFinanSe Payments Inc., the wholly-owned subsidiary of the Company that holds various state money transmitter licenses. AccountNow has an option to acquire the stock of nFinanSe Payments for a nominal payment at a Second Closing upon certain states granting approval for a change of control of its money transmitter licenses. It is highly unlikely that any proceeds will be available to holders of any other series of nFinanSe’s Convertible Preferred Stock or its Common Stock and after the Second Closing, nFinanSe will have no assets.

MoneyGram International and AccountNow prepaid card marketer forged partnership agreements, allowing AccountNow as the first U.S.-based prepaid card program to provide MoneyGram’s money transfer products as an online agent beginning November 2011. This lets prepaid cardholders send money in 10 minutes to any MoneyGram location in the world from AccountNow’s web site. AccountNow customers can register online to access MoneyGram’s global money transfer network from the same site used to manage their accounts and send money anywhere.

Cardtronics has signed long-term agreements to provide CA-based Pacific Convenience & Fuels ATM processing and managed services for 225 of its store locations. Pacific Convenience & Fuels acquired all of the U.S. retail assets of ConocoPhillips Company in January 2009, for a total of over 570 company owned, dealer, and fee operator sites in California, Colorado, Oregon, Nevada, Texas, and Washington. TX-based Cardtronics non-bank owner of ATMs operates over 33,400 machines across with ATMs in every major market in the United States and Puerto Rico, over 2,600 ATMs throughout the United Kingdom, and over 2,600 ATMs throughout Mexico.
