Vodafone M-Pesa
Vodafone Romania has teamed with the digital money transfer service WorldRemit. Through Vodafone M-Pesa, WorldRemit customers can now send instant money transfers to any Vodafone customer in Romania.
SEQR & NFC
Until now, SEQR customers have been able to use their phones to make payments in stores where SEQR have an integration to the merchants’ cash register. SEQR customers will be able to shop with SEQR in any store that has NFC enabled card terminals, whether or not a merchant has a direct agreement with SEQR.

Mobilio Protection now offers independent wireless retailers the convenience of a low price prepaid protection plan covering new, refurbished and pre-owned devices distributed via the epay WebPOS distribution portal.
MasterPass USA
Later this summer, Burger King will expand its use of MasterPass to its app which offers exclusive deals and allows users to locate the nearest restaurant, explore the menu, and pay directly with their phone. Starting this fall, Firehouse Subs will begin accepting MasterPass too.
EACHA & SEPA
Six members of the European Automated Clearing House Association (EACHA) have joined forces to deliver centralized and optimized processing services for SEPA transactions. For this purpose they have set up a new company called European Clearing Cooperative (ECC).
SEQR UK
Seamless’ mobile payment service SEQR, which this spring has become established as one of Europe’s leading mobile payment solutions, is continuing its rapid roll-out into new markets. Having been introduced in a number of European countries in the spring, a couple of weeks ago the service was launched in the US and now it’s the UK’s turn.
SEQR MyShop
SEQR released its new feature MyShop, making it possible for every user to sell goods via their mobile, whether it is a garage sale or opening their own mobile e-shop. The goods can conveniently be marketed in social media channels of choice, classified sites, or printed and posted.
McDonald’s & MasterPass
The National Bank of Abu Dhabi (NBAD) says McDonald’s diners looking to order online can now pay using MasterCard’s digital service – MasterPass.
SEQR & Colruyt
All Colruyt Group stores in Belgium have begun accepting the mobile payment service SEQR. This includes close to 500 stores at Colruyt, Okay, Bio-Planet, Cru, Dreamland and Dream Baby and affiliated independent Spar stores.
Vodafone & MTN
Vodafone Group and MTN Group have inked a deal to interconnect their mobile money services. This will enable customers of M-Pesa and MTN Mobile Money in East Africa to transfer money to each other.
Bulgarian Cards
Bulgarian payment cards will likely hit 9 million cards-in-force (CIF) this year growing at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 2.08%. Transaction value is expanding at a CAGR of 7.33%, rising to BGN16.3 billion (US$8.7 billion) in 2014.
