CL Verify Credit Solutions real time credit bureau anticipates issuing
more than 50 million consumer reports to subscribing lenders and other
qualified clients by the end of 2009, representing an unprecedented

With the Apollo relationship, Green Dot significantly expands the MoneyPak capabilities within the bill payment category. Utilizing a MoneyPak, consumers will be able to make payments on their accounts with Apollo clients through a payment gateway between Apollo’s web-based Intelligent Debt Solutions payment and collection system, which facilitates debtor self-payment and self-settlement, and the Green Dot Network. American Express unveiled the first fully integrated “Electronic Invoice Presentment and Payment” solution. With “S2S eInvoice&Pay,” companies can now process 100% of their invoices and issue payments to their suppliers from a single online portal managed by American Express. Nestle USA, a longstanding AmEx commercial card client, will begin implementing the solution in its supply chain next month. Features of the new solution include: electronic capture of 100% of invoices; straight-through electronic processing from PO to payment for users of electronic procurement and the AmEx “Corporate Purchasing Card”; a large and fast-growing e-invoice enabled supplier networks, plus a dedicated enrollment team to provide service and support; reduced invoice exceptions and faster pay via automated review and dispute resolution; multiple payment options (including the AmEX “Corporate Purchasing Card” and ACH); and compatibility with all ERP systems, plus advanced SAP connectivity. AmEx noted it will unveil other products in the “S2S” product suite in coming months, addressing the areas of sourcing and ordering.
San Diego-based MedImpact Healthcare Systems and Bank of America have teamed to combine a “Consumer-Directed Health Care” platform with a rewards-based credit card. This is the first healthcare offering that delivers both a co-branded rewards card and an account-based benefit product set. MedImpact serves 27 million members nationwide from its client companies. The MedEmpower integrated account-based benefits package also includes “Flexible Spending Accounts,” “Health Reimbursement Arrangements,” debit cards, account and claims administration, marketing, communication and education services. MedImpact is also offering its clients a BofA credit card with the “WorldPoints” reward program. In addition to earning reward points for everyday net retail purchases, the no-annual-fee credit card offers cardholders double reward points for net retail purchases of medical services and pharmaceuticals. The points can be redeemed for merchandise, travel, cash back, or converted to cash which can be deposited into a “Health Savings Account.”
American Express is launching a suite of “Source-to-Settle” electronic solutions to strengthen its commercial card business and procurement capabilities. The new “S2S” suite will be marketed to corporations in the U.S. beginning in January, with plans to expand on a global basis. To add the new service AmEx is acquiring Atlanta-based Harbor Payments, a technology provider that delivers e-invoice and e-payment capabilities. The product functionality helps companies eliminate paper processing and make their supply chain more efficient. Harbor Payments has approximately 200 clients. The acquisition is expected to close this month.
