POSaaS is a subscription-based program with no-contract period and a predictable monthly fee. With two restaurants currently using the POSaaS solution and 12 more planned within the next two years, Trinity Groves selected NCR because of its low-risk, flexible subscription program that combines industry-leading software, hardware, data security services, maintenance and helpdesk support services in one all-inclusive monthly payment. PULSE debit/ATM network saw strong growth in 2011, adding 129 direct financial institution participants to its network. The number of ATMs nationwide that accept PULSE grew in the last fiscal year to more than 380,000 from 350,000 in 2010. Consequently, total transaction volume on the network grew significantly in 2011, totaling more than 3.8 billion transactions, 16% up on the year ago period. Total dollar volume grew to $140 billion, 19% over the year ago period. The network also saw successful migration of the network’s debit processing and development platforms to state-of-the-art HP NonStop Blade server technology; expansion of Internet PIN debit to include recurring payments and subscription-based bill payments; enhancements to the DebitProtect® fraud mitigation system; and the launch of DebitSavvy.org, a website designed to engage consumers and explore all facets of debit card use.

Teamwork Retail not only manages inventory, purchasing, receiving, analytics and management reporting as well. Since Paymentsite is packaged into the software, a merchant can process payments anywhere, accept signatures on-screen, and email or wirelessly print receipts. Recurly’s payment gateway helps businesses optimize their customer retention rates, minimize customer churn, and extend the lifetime value of their subscribers under management thanks to integration with the TSYS “Total Systems Service” credit card processing service.
Trustwave information security and compliance solutions announced its “TrustKeeper” cloud-based security and compliance portal, has been named one of the 2011 Chicago Innovation Awards winners. The Chicago Innovation Awards recognition of innovative products or services hosted more than 400 nominees, up more than 60% over the past two years. The “TrustKeeper” Web portal supports merchants’ compliance efforts.
