PA-based EPS Financial has unveiled a Payroll Card platform with simple to manage web-based tools. The EPS Payroll Card platform is driven by the E1 Visa Payroll Card that provides companies a convenient, low-cost alternative to disbursing salary and wages to employees.
Cardtronics, the world’s largest retail ATM owner, posted total revenues of $281.9 million for the first quarter, up 15% from $245.1 million one-year ago. ATM operating revenues of $260.0 million, were up 9% from $238.1 million.
London-based Monitise has partnered with the MoneyPass Network to offer a range of advanced Mobile Money services and card control capabilities to card issuers in the U.S. The MoneyPass Network is operated by Elan Financial Services, a division of U.S. Bank.

Elan Financial Services EFT services, processing more than 4 billion transactions annually, signed an agreement with MasterCard® to adopt their U.S. common Debit Application Identifier (AID) specification for the MoneyPass® Network. The MoneyPass Network, by licensing the common AID, will be able to facilitate U.S domestic debit transactions on the network, including contact or contactless, and surcharge-free ATM transactions.

GECU credit union provides its members with online and mobile digital banking services from Digital Insight, an NCR company, while also installing NCR Interactive Teller in new neighborhood branches. GECU has agreed to renew Digital Insight’s suite of SaaS solutions including Online Banking, iOS and Android mobile and tablet banking, Remote Deposit Capture, FinanceWorks and Purchase Rewards.Financial institutions are continuing to adopt mobile services as mobile banking becomes more popular. According to a Digital Insight study1, mobile consumers access their financial information 66 percent more frequently than online, non-mobile consumers. Additionally, consumers using online, mobile and tablet log in approximately 30 times a month compared to consumers who only use online banking and log in less than 10 times a month.2
Payment Alliance International (PAI) , a leader in retail ATM solutions, and OnPoint Community Credit Union announced they have entered into an agreement to brand ATMs at all 72 Rite Aid pharmacies in the state of Oregon. PAI will own and operate the ATMs which will be outfitted with OnPoint Community Credit Union’s branding. OnPoint members will benefit from surcharge-free access to cash at Oregon Rite Aid pharmacies beginning July 2014.

The MoneyPass Network is celebrating another year of increased growth with a contest for cardholders. The MoneyPass “Caught Without Cash” contest gives cardholders an opportunity to win one of two weekly $100 drawings and a grand prize of $1,000. The “Caught Without Cash” contest runs through June 1, 2014. Contestants enter by sharing a brief story about a time they were caught without cash when it was needed, such as paying a babysitter or shopping at a farmers market. Two $100 winners are drawn each week during the contest. Entries can be voted on by visitors to the contest site and one entry will be chosen from the top ten entries as the grand prize winner at the end of the contest. MoneyPass participants are encouraged to promote the contest to cardholders as a way to increase awareness of the benefits of MoneyPass access.
Salin Bank partnered Alliance One ATM Network and is now part of a nationwide group offering surcharge-free ATM access to their cardholders. Salin Bank’s 23 ATMs will join more than 850 Indiana-based ATMs within the network. Alliance One is a selective surcharge-free ATM group comprised of financial institutions that have joined together to provide their cardholders access to a nationwide alliance of surcharge free ATMs. Salin Bank’s customers will have the opportunity to avoid the foreign surcharges – usually $3 or more per transaction – that are often assessed when a cardholder uses an ATM owned by another financial institution.
