CashStar digital gifting and incentives has partnered with SVM distributor of gasoline and retail gift cards to deliver CashStar-powered eGift cards to SVMâs corporate customers. SVM offers gift cards from more than 150 of the nationâs most popular retail stores, restaurants, service companies and hotels to corporations for incentives, rewards and promotions. Under the terms of this agreement, SVM will use the CashStar digital gifting and incentives platform to deliver eGift cards to its corporate customers. The CashStar platform delivers retailers incremental, high-margin sales, promotes online and in-store traffic and encourages customer loyalty by providing consumers with gifting experiences.
Gift card provider SVM has announced that two of its customers, Meineke Car Care Centers and Choice Hotels International, have special promotions underway that are providing compelling ways to attract new customers and generate repeat business with existing customers. Meineke Car Care Centers throughout NY, NJ and CT are using SVM’s gasoline gift cards as a way of attracting consumer attention, and as a reward for customers performing needed repairs before they take to the highway for their vacations. Choice Hotels International is utilizing the SVM gasoline gift cards by offering their guests $50 in free gas this summer each time a guest stays three separate times at the chain’s more than 3,000 hotels in the U.S., Canada, Mexico or the Caribbean between June 1st and August 16th. There is also no limit to the number of times a consumer can earn this reward during the promotion period. SVM offers gasoline gift cards from every major oil company in America.
SVM announced that its customers have purchased over 20% more gasoline gift cards in second quarter 2007 than in the first quarter and are using the cards to boost morale and build loyalty with their employees. SVM reports that its customers are using the SVM-issued gasoline gift cards to motivate, retain, and keep their employees enthused to come to and perform at work. According to the GAO, Americans have spent $20 billion more so far this year than last on gasoline. As a result, many employees are feeling a direct strain on their family budgets. Employers recognize this financial impact on their employees and are assisting by providing fuel cards to help with the cost of getting to work as well as to other daily activities such as the grocery store, doctor visits, community events, children’s activities and traveling on vacation. SVM provides gasoline gift cards from every major oil company in America and a distributor of the American Express-branded “Fill It Up” prepaid gasoline card.
Stored Value Marketing has signed an agreement with Express Payment Solutions to deploy the EPS cash deposit services to load funds onto its numerous prepaid debit card programs. Under this agreement, SVM will utilize the EPS proprietary depository network consisting of 12,000 nationwide bank branches representing four leading North American banks. Worldwide Financial Services, Inc., dba Express Payment Solutions was developed to provide a cash payment solution and electronic service access to underserved and subsidized housing individuals. SVM provides money transfer services to single convenience store owners, payroll providers, Internet entities and large companies.
