Fiserv will offer Guardian Analytics FraudMAP solutions, delivering integrated behavior-based anomaly detection solutions to Fiserv consumer and business banking clients. The agreement provides Fiserv clients with a new option for strengthening layered security and meeting the Federal Financial Institutions Examination Council (FFIEC) expectations for anomaly detection. FraudMAP is widely deployed at leading financial institutions to proactively prevent consumer and commercial fraud. The solution protects against a wide range of account takeover threats including malware, phishing, social engineering, vishing, data breaches, as well as payments fraud. FraudMAP is rapidly deployed and is easy for financial institutions to incorporate into their operations.
TransCentra, a leading provider of billing and payment software and services, has named Kevin Lee president of TransCentra’s software and technology group. Lee brings more than 15 years of experience in strategically guiding companies in the financial services technology industry, including leading several during times of rapid growth. Lee was previously president and CEO of CRE Secure, a leading cloud-based, secure payment solution, where he oversaw the organization’s technology development and overall strategic direction. Prior to CRE Secure, he was CEO of Skylight Financial, a prepaid debit card provider, where he was instrumental in growing and ultimately leading the sale of Skylight to Netspend to form Netspend Holdings in 2008.

Intuit has launched its “Intuit Pay” pilot program, giving small businesses a secure and inexpensive way to accept card payments anywhere. Its being tested by hundreds of small businesses and includes a free mobile app with a low-cost chip and PIN card reader. The “Intuit Pay” solution is ideal for both brick-and-mortar businesses and those on the go – from tradesmen to taxis, and from markets to manufacturers. With it, merchants can accept credit cards anywhere, using a smartphone or tablet, a free app and the Intuit Pay chip and PIN card reader. It can also process credit and debit card payments instantly online from a computer. It is approved for chip and PIN payments by Visa and MasterCard.
The Jack Henry & Associates Jack Henry Banking division announced it has moved all operations from its Lyndhurst, NJ item processing (IP) center to one of the company’s alternate processing facilities in Oklahoma City, OK. The Lyndhurst center was rendered inoperable due to widespread flooding caused by Hurricane Sandy. Over 100 of Jack Henry & Associates’ 1,300 core bank clients were impacted by the damaged IP center.
The Finish Line is deploying VeriFone’s mobile checkout and multimedia-driven countertop payment solutions, f ollowing a successful trial, at all of its 638 locations equipped by mid-November when the holiday buying season begins. Finish Line is deploying 1,600 of the countertop multimedia MX 915 systems and 3,200 PAYware Mobile Enterprise secure mobile card acceptance devices for the iPod touch. Finish Line is completing a system-wide upgrade to the MICROS Systems xStore POS and MICROS miStore mobile Point of Sale, which are designed to increase sales associate productivity and build strong customer loyalty, and the new media-enabled VeriFone MX 915 customer-facing payment acceptance solution. The PAYware Mobile Enterprise card encryption reader, with integrated 2-D bar code scanner, works with all forms of electronic payment including magnetic stripe, chip and PIN, and contactless/NFC-enabled cards and phones.
