offer the US market a new integrated payments offering for small and
mid-sized businesses. This will allow Sage customers to use Ingenico’s
credit card terminals with Sage Exchange connectivity to securely

Misys global application software and services company has launched its
packaged payment hub. A low risk and rapid way for banks to modernize
payments environment and protect existing investment in legacy systems,
Misys’ “Payment Manager” hub aims to help banks centralize and
streamline their payment processes. Powered by Misys Message Manager and
supported by the company’s portal technology, Misys “Payment Manager”
extends the visibility and control of any payment through its complete
lifecycle on a Java EE thin-client application built on Service Oriented

A new report projects that by 2014, 45% of mobile-phone users will

number of mobile bankers due to the iPhoneâs influence, while Verizon

banking today. Javelin predicts 99 million U.S. adults will conduct
mobile banking transactions at least once per year by 2014 â with 52% of

Fiserv information technology services has introduced its “Source
Capture Optimization” solution providing financial institutions to
enhance branch, teller, ATM, merchant and regional deposit
functionality. The new solution provides clients an integrated source
capture platform combining the “CheckFree” web-based application and
Fiserv image capture solutions for consistent image quality, fraud
protection, courtesy amount recognition (CAR), legal amount recognition
(LAR), remittance processing and ACH conversion features. Fiserv
provides information management, electronic commerce systems and has
nearly $4 billion in total revenue from continuing operations.
Misys has partnered with Petra Financial to launch its “Customer Payment
Initiation” through the “Touchstone” interface. With this Petra interface,

Chordiant Software announced that it is working with First Data International to develop a card servicing contact center solution as a service for First Data’s global issuing customers. The new value added service will deliver an enhanced user and customer experience to First Data’s strategic “VisionPLUS” processing solution by facilitating natural-style conversation, flexible business process automation, an intelligent full view of the customer, and a highly intuitive user interface. Retalix reported that revenues for the first quarter were up 4% to $52.7 million. Net income for the period was $200,000, compared to net income of $1.5 million for 1Q/06. The Company says the quarter met its expectations and it is encouraged by the strong interest of grocery and convenience retailers in its integrated customer loyalty and promotions solutions. During the quarter, Retalix and Postilion announced an alliance to deliver integrated POS and payment switch for travel centers and convenience stores.
