Kony Solutions mobile and multi-channel application platform provider introduced a new version of its “Kony Mobile Retail” packaged mobile solution. At the Shop.org show, where the solution was introduced, Kony’s Chief Mobile Officer will partake in a “Masters of Mobile” panel discussion on the connection between retailers and consumers. Kony Mobile Retail was designed for both online and brick-and-mortar retailers. New features allow customers to browse entire product catalogs, use store locators, shopping carts, gift registries, and loyalty cards. It is also configurable with web-based interface lets marketers and developers create personalized and individually-branded mobile experiences, modify look-and-feel, enable and disable features, and re-organize menus – all without any coding and extended to support business-specific applications and requirements, such as third-party solutions or a retailer’s own custom-built modules.
Alfa Insurance has chosen Kony to launch the newest version of its Alfa2GoTM mobile app, offering customers the option of paying bills, filing claims and accessing policy information on their iPhone and Android smartphones. Alfa insurance and financial service providers currently has more than $25 billion in force, and Alfa’s property and casualty companies service more than 1 million policies. Customers who register their policies with MyAlfa can now access policy information or view their auto insurance identification cards through a secure connection on their handheld devices.
MICROS Systems has won the contract with the Village of Bridgeview and Toyota Park to integrate its MICROS POS solution for fans of the Chicago Fire Soccer Club. Toyota Park is a Chicago-based stadium which hosts a wide array of sporting and entertainment events for the area. The solution includes MICROS 9700 Hospitality Management System (HMS) with 92 Keyboard Workstation 270 (KW270) POS terminals for concession operations, 5 Workstation 5A (WS5A) touchscreen terminals for premium operations, and the MICROS Perpetual Inventory and Event Management Solution for increased control of operations.
SpyderLynk marketing technology company launched its “Snap-to-Buy” mobile commerce solution that closes the loop for publishers and advertisers, allowing them to take traditional media right to the intersection of social, mobile and, now, m-commerce. It lets consumers ‘Like’ a brand on Facebook, obtaining additional product information, scoring and redeeming offers to purchasing products – all with one snap or scan of a “Buy it Now” or “Shop the Look” SnapTag from a printed advertisement using their mobile phones.
NEOVIA Payment Suite has won contracts with 8 new merchants selling
luxury goods online, making payment processing straightforward and
secure. Using the NEOVIA Payment Suite to take online payments at their
website, the new merchants will have access to the NETBANX international
payments gateway, the NETELLER e-wallet and Net+ cards solutions.
NETBANX allows merchants to accept card and non-card payments through
multiple channels including online, contact centres, mail order and
automated phone systems; the e-wallet allows consumers to spend securely
online as well as allowing merchants to increase customer lifetime
value; and the Net+ cards allow merchants to extend customer loyalty and
lifetimes. The new merchants include

TSYS and Toyota Finance have extended agreements to include prepaid
payment and processing services for the Toyota “Tressa Style Card Plus”.
“Tressa Style Card Plus” e-money reward card facilitates prepaid and
QUICPay contactless card payment transactions. TSYS offers payment
processing for the ‘Tressa’ card and other payment cards with debit,
credit, retail gift, loyalty and prepaid capabilities through its TSYS
Japan division. Toyota Finance provides credit cards for 7.2 million
cardholders with total transaction volumes exceeding $18 billion while
QUICPay contactless chip-based e-money schemes allows consumers to
register their cards to allow contactless point-of-sale terminal
transactions.
