With this, business owners can create loyalty and rewards programs for consumers who pay with cash. Punchcard lets users shop at any one of the 15 million local retail businesses where Punchcard works, take a photo of your receipt with the Punchcard app to verify your purchase and earn “punches” on a punch card for that business. Jeffery Keith has been appointed executive VP with Cardtronics’ Global Operations Group to ensure U.S.-located ATMs dispense cash 24-hours per day. Keith also oversees general management of ATM performance monitoring; cash management; technical support; field service; customer call center; inventory; purchasing; and global vendor relations. Having most recently joined EDC in 2007-which Cardtronics recently took over- Keith served as its executive VP, Business Development. Before this, he served as president of BVIG Financial since 2002, until EDC ATM acquired the company in 2007.

Global Payout is launching payroll debit cards to U.S. companies seeking to significantly reduce costs and improve efficiencies in payroll processing to its employees. The company will conduct an outbound telemarketing campaign beginning September 6, 2011 that will include contacting over 12,000 civilian U.S. companies in construction, hospitality, waste management, janitorial and employment agencies. The payroll debit card will enable employees without bank accounts to access cash immediately on payday without the expense and time of cashing checks. Employees will be given a free payroll debit card that can access cash at ATMs nationwide and purchase products and services at merchants or online stores. There will be no monthly service fee, customer service or point of sale fees and the first ATM withdrawal is free for each pay period.
After having launched the reloadable “Iridium” MasterCard in 1Q/10, SelectCore is now disclosing its limited sales outlets have generated considerable revenue. Although the proprietary POS technology that facilitates real-time card activation and reloads has been deployed on only 4,000 company-owned VeriFone terminals in the marketplace, the Company sees this as grounds to continue a nation-wide roll-out once it completes its refinancing. SelectCore deployed the “Iridium” MasterCard as part of its strategic growth strategy to diversify into high-margin financial transaction processing, and markets to millions of un-banked and credit challenged consumers who do not have access to traditional financial services offered by the banks.
Twitpay social media payment technology now has money to grow thanks to TomorrowVentures and CompuCredit Holdings. Having secured its undisclosed growth funding, Twitpay can expand its existing service offerings and continue its focus on serving nonprofit organizations looking to raise funds directly over Twitter, social gaming developers offering virtual currency and retailers facilitating social commerce. This is in conjunction with its recently announced a partnership with Incomm to offer social gaming publishers access to a customized promotion and lead generation platform designed specifically around the social gaming model. The first social gaming campaign is due out in early 2011. Twitpay ultimately touts itself as a provider of payment systems solutions for social media networks.
IPP of America (IPP) retail payment services has acquired AmeraCash Solutions bill payment service provider with a network of over 600 locations throughout the Mid-Atlantic region to significantly expand its retail and biller network. Targeting cash-preferred consumers, the network offers domestic and international bill payment processing, pay by phone technology, international mobile phone top-ups, prepaid wireless and debit cards. Additionally, IPP is changing its name to Softgate Systems to more accurately reflect focus on its technology processing platform; “Retail Payments Exchange.” Finally, the Company is launching its “PayXchange” retail brand across it’s 18,000 retail locations throughout the U.S., over half of which provide bill payment, throughout 2011.
