First Data Signs VSoft Reseller Agreement
First Data electronic commerce and payment processing and VSoft Corporation have signed a reseller agreement, under which VSoft will sell First Data debit processing services and Star ATM and POS access to its clients. VSoft offers core and payment processing solutions for more than 2,200 banks, credit unions and savings institutions. This latest agreement will provide VSoft client financial institutions STAR Network access as well as end-to-end debit card processing services. First Data’s multi-layered online tools can help them manage their debit card programs more efficiently. The solution also provides processing options to control transaction authentication and authorization, including real-time balance verification. VSoft also has agreed to endorse First Data Online Banking – which includes personal financial manager (PFM), mobile and online bill pay services – to its clients, and will fully integrate the solution into its core banking platform, CoreSoft.
Great Western Bank deploys VSoft Image Processing
Great Western Bank selected VSoft’s branch and item capture and image processing solutions. The bank replaced its existing payments platform with VSoft’s branch item capture solution for its ability to allow branch operators to key, balance and reject/repair images at point of capture, rather than defer that work to a central operations area. The bank is also performing inclearing, and transmission of cash letters with VSoft’s image exchange solution. Great Western Bank will also use VSoft solutions to enable image delivery through customer e-statements, CDs or by interfacing directly to home banking systems.
VSoft Joins Viewpointe Network
VSoft is now a member of the Viewpointe network for exchange services, benefiting both organizations with an expanding network of exchange partners. This also provides VSoft clients with access to a fully integrated and seamless clearing and settlement solution with Viewpointe Clearing, Settlement & Association Services (VPCS&AS) rules coverage, common business practices through a single multilateral agreement, and settlement using a National Settlement System. The partnership includes Pointe2Pointe for image exchange services; National Settlement System (NSS) for Internet-based net settlement system; and Association Services, providing education and support for all payments network participants. VSoft is able to consolidate its clients’ exchange activity through a dedicated channel, thereby eliminating the need to establish a complex structure of partnerships and connections with each individual financial institution.
R.I.A. FCU Selects VSoft for Item Capture, Image Exchange
VSoft process improvement solutions for financial institutions, announced R.I.A. Federal Credit Union has selected its branch item capture and image exchange solutions. R.I.A. Federal Credit Union chose to deploy VSoft’s branch item capture solution as an outsourced model, which enables a seamless transition of its check processing to VSoft’s data center, VServe. The solution gives the credit union the ability to capture deposits in the back office, streamlining processes and reducing internal expenses. First City FCU Implements VSoft Image Exchange
VSoft Corporation global information and technology provider will provide First City Credit Union its image exchange and settlement solutions. First City will leverage VSoft’s applications via an outsourced model, meeting the credit union’s functionality needs without having the burden of hardware, maintenance and compliance responsibilities.
