To complete a transaction, consumers briefly hold their credit card in front of their webcam through secure videostreaming, allowing credit card details recognized and verfied.

Noodles & Company has launched a gift card that sits on a tabletop easel and displays the giver’s photo. To personalize the card, the user can visit the “Lunch Buddy Support Center” to upload and print their photo. Or, select a photo of a stand-in “buddy” from a photo gallery provided on the site. Givers can even guarantee their buddy’s availability for the virtual lunch date by using a calendar blocker feature to choose a specific day and time for the lunch. “Lunch Buddy” cards are available in any amount at a Noodles location, or in $20 amounts if ordered online. And, like a buddy, the cards never expire. They can be reloaded at any Noodles location and reused for as many “lunch dates” as desired. Gift givers also are invited to participate in the “Lunch Buddy Photo Contest” launching in mid-December.

Citi has added “Visa payWave” technology to its “Clear Card” program. Purchases under a total value of Rp200.000 can be processed via the contactless option. “Visa payWave” is currently available in 200 outlets across Indonesia with more than 1,000 outlets expected to offer the contactless payment option early next year. The new contactless “Citi Clear Card” is targeted at young, tech-savvy customers between the ages of 21 and 39. The newly enhanced card features “M2S” offers from Citibank merchant partners such as Cinema XXI, The Body Shop, Hard Rock CafÃÂ©, Embassy The Club, Public, Gloria Jean’s Coffee, Cold Rocks
Ice Creamery, Gelatissmo and many more. The “Clear Afterhours” program includes many eateries, cafes and bars where our customers can enjoy live music and ‘buy 1 get 1 free’ food and beverage offers. The “Citi Clear Card” was launched in Indonesia in 2003.

solution with 500 customers for full functionality after 3 months. With
this solution, customers are able to conduct payment transactions using
their cell phone in much the same way a credit card would be used.
Atom Technologies is the organization overseeing the Multi Commodity
Exchange of India to enable mobile payments. With this, the company
has developed such products as the Atom card to embed credit card
data for the payment solution and securely store card details and
provide PIN compatibility.
