SOUTHEAST ASIA CROSS BORDER FRAUD

Mobiclear identity protection has signed agreements to sponsor the
“Southeast Asian Cross Border Fraud Convention”, which will be held on
February 29th-March 1st. Additionally the convention will host the 14
member banks of the Credit Card Association of the Philippines
(CCAP), providing what Mobiclear sees as an opportunity to introduce
banking products in the region, to which the organization hopes to
eventually contribute transaction security. Moreover, the MobiClear
provides anti-fraud identity solutions around the world, which the payment
security provider estimates a growth of $20 billion per annum.

TRINTECH GROUP PLC

The Trintech Group has reported its 4Q07 revenues and performance
ended January 31, 2008 showing an adjusted EBITDA income of
$595,000 and a net loss of $706,000. Among other information
reflected in the release, following the Company’s acquisition of Movaris,
was Trintech’s reported 19% revenue growth of $8.9 million, a total
annual revenue growth of 28% since 2006, a gross margin growth by
nearly 1 million to $6.4 million in the quarter and a total annual gross
margin of $22.2 million. Moreover, Trintech reduced its expenditure in
research by 17% to $1.2 million, reduced annual reduction in research
costs by 1% to $4.9 million, increased expenditure in marketing by 60%
to $2.7 million, showed a 2007 annual increase of 51% in marketing
expenditure to $10.7 million, an adjusted EBITDA income of $595,000
for 4Q07, and an adjusted EBITDA loss of $327,000 for the fiscal year.

Passlogix Supports Crescendo Cards

NY-based Passlogix and its “v-GO Sign-Platform” now supports HID Global’s “Crescendo” access control cards. “Crescendo” is a smart card that can be deployed for both logical and physical access control and other secure identity-related applications and is designed to work with existing physical access control systems incorporating different types of magnetic stripe, proximity or contactless 13.56 MHz smart card technologies. “v-GO’s ability” to mix and match authentication methods, including the proximity and smart card capabilities of Crescendo, also makes it possible to use different methods with different user groups such as physicians, nurses, pharmacists and accounting personnel based on their needs and preferences.

CEO America, CREDITZ Digital Currency licensee, has signed agreements
to acquire the assets of CEO Credit Inc, with which the acquiring
Organization plans to deploy the “CEO Canada” wholly-owned Canadian
subsidiary. With the subsidiary, CEO America will manage the Canadian
license and operations of CREDITZ. Subsequently, shareholders will exchange
one share of CEOX for one CEO America share and retain their shares in
CEOX. With this consolidation, CEO America can streamline activities and
reduce cost, which will funnel to the customer.

Target’s Q4 Credit Card Profits Rise 12%

Target reported that its pre-tax credit card profits for the quarter ending February 2nd increased 12% over the year-ago quarter. Credit card outstandings for the quarter increased 28% year-on-year, topping $8.62 billion. Target says Target’s fourth calendar quarter pre-tax credit card profits were $137 million, compared to $157 million in the prior quarter and $122 million one-year ago. Target reported that its total credit card receivables, which include its VISA and “Guest” cards, were $8.624 billion as of February 2nd, compared to $7.652 billion for 3Q/07 and $6.711 billion one-year ago. Delinquency (60 days+) for 4Q/07 increased to 4.0%, compared to 3.8% in the previous quarter and 3.5% one-year ago. Charge-offs, as a percentage of period-end receivables, decreased to 6.4% for 4Q/07, compared to 7.0% in the prior quarter, but up from 6.1% one-year ago. American Express and Delta launched “Pay with Miles,” an exclusive new built-in benefit for “American Express Gold” and “Platinum Delta SkyMiles” cardholders. “Pay with Miles” enables cardholders to book flights on delta.com and use “Miles” to pay for all or part of a Delta ticket, with no blackout dates or inventory restrictions. The “Pay with Miles” feature is an additional option that complements Delta’s existing award travel options. Cardholders can pay with “Miles” for any Delta seat, in any class of service, on any route. Cardholders can use all the “Miles” in their “SkyMiles” bank, not just those earned by spending on their credit card. There is no limit on the number of times the “Pay with Miles” benefit can be used, and there is no cap on the number of Miles that can be used. Australian Card Debt Sets a New Record

Credit card debt climbed again in December setting a new record of A$42.7 billion in Australia. Credit card volume also set a new high of A$19.2 billion after hitting a record in October. Year-on-year credit card debt has increased 9.5%, compared to December 2006. Card volume is up 12.3% compared to one-year ago. Credit card limits also reached a new high at A$114.4 billion, marking the 16th consecutive month of A$100+ billion. According to the Reserve Bank of Australia there are currently 13.9 million credit card and charge card accounts in Australia, compared to 13.2 million one-year ago.
