The Northeastern University Alumni Association announced its endorsement of MBNA’s credit card services for its alumni and students.
The Northeastern Alumni Association, founded in 1918 and led by its officers, directors, and governors, works to connect 150,000 alumni to one another and to the University. Through the Office of Alumni Relations, it administers traditional club, class, reunion, Homecoming, and student-alumni programs. It also offers alumni continuing education and career programs; web services including an online alumni directory; and various awards, including the Outstanding Alumni Awards, the W. Erwin Story Citation, the Medallion Awards (for younger alumni), and the Professional Promise Awards.
“We are taking great care to increase the quality and usefulness of everything we do for our alumni. In that context, and after four months of research, we have selected the world leader in service quality for our student and alumni credit card holders,” said Steven L. Calvert, Executive Director of Alumni Relations at Northeastern.
“Northeastern is a world leader in practice-oriented education that emphasizes linking the classroom with workplace experience,” said John Cochran, chief marketing officer of MBNA. “We look forward to serving the Alumni Association with the innovative products and superior service expected from MBNA.”
