MyCheck & DataCash Intro Self check-out Mpayment app

DataCash, a MasterCard company, is now processing payments for the MyCheck app is due to be launched, providing an alternative way to pay without the need for credit cards and cash in restaurants, bars and pubs. Initially launched in Tel Aviv, where it has been adopted by over 80% of the city’s leading bars, pubs, restaurants, MyCheck is a unique mobile app that removes the need for an embedded chip in smartphones to make payments. The service allows customers to download the MyCheck app for participating venues they visit. A pre-authorisation validates the customer’s payment details and in return a 4 digit payment authorisation code is then entered by the waiter or barman into their electronic point-of-sale system, which opens a tab for the customer.

Western Union Expands Services Globally

Western Union launched Western Union Money Transfer services at six banks in Myanmar. In addition to the six banks, Kanbawza Bank- with over 90 locations nation-wide- also signed with Western Union. A combined network of more than 150 locations representing Co-operative Bank, First Private Bank, Myanma Apex Bank, Myanmar Livestock and Fisheries Development Bank, Myanmar Oriental Bank and United Amara Bank are now connected to Western Union’s global network of over 500,000 Agent locations. Agilysys Enhances NextVision App Offering

Agilysys announced major enhancements to its NextVision mobile applications suite to NextGateway, NextManager and NextPosition, which were designed to provide store associates mobile access to real-time store and enterprise information. NextGateway is the newest addition to the NextVision software suite that affords Agilysys the opportunity to provide retailers a wide array of value-add systems functionality based on their existing software investments. It runs as a Java virtual machine within the existing store server infrastructure and is a light-weight framework installable on many POS platforms, including Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions (TGCS) 4690, Windows and Linux.
