This also allows parents to set ways for kids to earn their money. Parents are given the power to control the spending on the child’s pre-paid, contactless Visa card – setting daily and weekly limits and where the card can be used: online, in-store or at ATMs. Meanwhile, the card will be rejected at places such as pubs and adult Web sites.

JCB to Deploy mWallet Platform

JCB is to commence a one-month trial of a new mobile wallet platform ahead of a national and international roll-out in 2013 with its “Mobile Wallet,” based on a platform from Dai Nippon Printing. This handles payment, loyalty programmes, discounts and other special offers and will offer users daily discounts at merchants in the trendy shopping district of Omotesando in Tokyo and will test the usability of app functions such as exchanging points for discount coupons and swapping points among users. Capitec Bank is deploying Diebold ATMs to deliver advanced functionality, enhanced security and convenience to its consumers. The agreement includes Opteva® 328 ATMs which feature cash recycling technology, allowing users to perform advanced transactions using notes, coins and checks, as well as perform all standard ATM functions in a single machine. Diebold’s cash recycling ATMs automate note and coin validation, improving transaction flow and security. MasterCard Processes First Myanmar ATM transaction

The first ATM installed in Myanmar became the first to accept an international payments MasterCard.
